Pricing questions, answered
Lab Explorer costs $0 forever. Connect one instrument, run up to 50 experiment cycles each month, and view the full hypothesis tree. There is no expiration, no credit card requirement, and no automatic upgrade. You remain on Lab Explorer unless you decide to upgrade.
A cycle covers one complete trip through the loop: an instrument run is ingested, its result is interpreted, and the next experiment is queued. When Research Team or Institute queues several parallel experiments in one cycle, it still counts as a single cycle. On Lab Explorer, the cycle count starts over each calendar month.
Yes. Annual billing can be selected at any time. If you change plans during a month, the unused days in your current monthly period are prorated toward the annual plan. Switching has no penalty, and annual billing saves 17% versus monthly payments.
Native adapters support HPLC (Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu file formats), UV-Vis, Raman spectroscopy, 96 and 384 well plate readers, and standard NGS QC report formats. Every tier includes the open adapter SDK, allowing your team to add instruments we do not yet support. Institute plans include custom adapter development.
Institute plans are defined through a conversation with our team. We support annual and multi-year agreements and understand procurement schedules in academic and research settings. Contact us for a proposal shaped around your team's instrument count and usage profile.
On premises deployment is available with the Institute plan. Instrument adapters run on your lab workstations across all tiers. For Institute customers with data residency requirements, the analysis and decision engine can run in your cloud account or on a private server.
